Visible for only a fraction of a second, the transit appears as a sequence of tiny silhouettes moving across the lunar disc, revealing the remarkable speed of an object orbiting hundreds of kilometres above Earth.

Capturing a moment like this requires careful planning, precise timing, and a narrow viewing path on the ground. From most locations, the station would miss the Moon entirely, but from the right place at the right time, its orbit briefly aligns with our nearest celestial neighbour.

Printing and Freight

All prints are produced to order and include free New Zealand-wide shipping. Every canvas and photographic print is carefully inspected to ensure colour, contrast and detail are faithfully reproduced before being packaged for delivery.

Orders are shipped via CourierPost with full tracking provided once dispatched. Please allow approximately 7–10 working days for printing, quality control and delivery.
